Fertő Lake

Lake Fertő (Neusiedlersee) in northwest Hungary and its surroundings were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on 16 December 2001. Austria and Hungary jointly applied for this. With its diverse flora and fauna, monuments, folk architecture, and vineyards, it has certainly earned its place. ,
