SVINĚ! (hardcore punk, Czech Republic):
A group of old friends got together around 2001 at a meeting where they thought it was time to form a punk band. They finally did and named their band SVINĚ (Pig).
The band has been going ever since, rehearsing, performing and writing songs for their next album. So far they have released two albums and 3 split albums. Now, for the first time, they bring the scratchy Czech
hardcore punk music to Budapest.
A2BELLLY (harshnoise, Czech Republic):
This band was formed in February 2023 during Míra's tour of Brazil with her then project Chrup, where the two good friends met and agreed to finally start creating together. Míra is responsible for electronic noise and Zebra
provides a nice background with Bombard and Mandolin and brings the screams from the grindcore multitude (he sang in bands like Grex and Mururoa).
They don't have recorded material yet so you can only see and hear them at the concert.
tHE sNOBS (anarchopunk, Budapest):
Perhaps we don't even need to introduce the local force that comes to support and colour this 'Czech Thursday', as they have been bringing their already cult songs to the country's stages for 28 years as the direct successor bands of the Shitheads, sometimes in full or acoustic formations, but also having the time and space to perform their newer compositions, in which the everyday life and problems of our society are a strong theme.
So come along this Thursday to stop 'Everyday Fascism', to stop 'Power Rising' and to stop 'Secret Peace Talks'.
