Tulpa was formed in 2019 from established members. Zsolti Binges from Fish!, Marci Székely from Ozone Mama, and Atilla Győri and Zoltan Jáger from Trick and Jóvilágvan. Their interaction resulted in something of a prog-rock formation, which was released as a full-length album, How to Create..., in March 2022 as a supplement to HammerWorld magazine. Since then, the band has played in many clubs in the capital and the countryside, as well as on larger stages.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
