Schedule

The first graphic workshop will focus on letterpress printing: looking at Tarocchi card sheets, Albrecht Dürer or Günther Uecker's works, we will learn about the technical processes and tools needed for letterpress printing. The session will end with a workshop: we will make a linocut using a printing die of our own making.

This three-day workshop series is recommended for those who want to learn about exciting printmaking techniques. On each session we will try different techniques: linocut, etching or screenprinting.

The sessions will start with a short introduction to art history and then continue with a discussion of the following. We will then look at the works on display in the exhibition "Series, Variations, Repetitive Patterns in 16th and 20th Century Graphic Art" and then learn about the different graphic processes. In the second half of the programme, you will learn the technique: try out the printmaking tools, make a print and then make your own artistic print.

Come to all three sessions and buy your pass for 20 000 HUF instead of 25 500 HUF!
