Schedule
Gabi Lakatos, GAB singer-songwriter, graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in jazz singing. She draws from her jazz roots in her own songs, but the result is a genre-blurring R'n'B sound that blurs the boundaries of genre. Her first album, Magnolia, debuted in April with producer Dan Pinto. In his Hungarian lyrics, he explores social issues such as exclusion, acceptance of each other, and the social and existential angst of Generation Z, sometimes with humour, sometimes with honest depth. The album features guest artists such as Glsch, Unique, don C and SilkSilver. The album was released in April with orchestral arrangements.
The acoustic concert will feature songs from the album as well as compositions by female jazz artists from the 30s and 40s who are a big influence on the singer.
Free admission to the concert!
