The starting point is a number of unperformed songs, preserved in a ready-to-perform state by the Cseh Tamás Archive. A new "musical tragicomedy" was born or was in the process of being born around the lyrics and songs of Mélyflugülés, which was performed at the Katona József Theatre in 1986, but the political turmoil of the late 1980s and Csengey's premature death prevented these songs from being performed on stage by Tamás Cseh.The 30th anniversary of the death of Dénes Csengey gives the contemporary evening a special topicality. "It is a night of loss of knowledge: the performers (Zoli Beck and Krisztián Szűcs) are alive, but the composers (Tamás Cseh and Dénes Csengey) are no more. They can't hear their songs, which they muttered, hummed and sang to a cassette recorder in Tamás' Béla Bartók Street apartment, finally being born. It's yesterday, it's the next day." - László Bérczes

"Actually, while working in the Cseh Tamás Archive, I discovered that, in addition to the published songs, at least twenty lyrics were also written, although, contrary to plans, their second joint show never materialised. Unfortunately, although these recordings are real curiosities, most of them are not suitable for release, as they are only half-finished rehearsals made with Tamás's or Dénes's tape recorder, and most of them were only sung with a single verse, with interruptions, conversations and ideas. With that said, it was a nail in the coffin for me that if we have the melody and the lyrics, then these are essentially ready-made Czech-Csengey songs, which neither Tamás nor anyone else has sung in front of an audience before." - Balázs Csengey
