Schedule

Kosmos 936

A year and a half ago, we got together as a group of friends for a concert opportunity, each with a different musical knowledge. After that it worked out so well that we formed this 10-piece formation consisting of: two guitars, bass, drums, two vocalists and 3 wind players.

We want to give you the old school funk and rock feel, improvise, get out of the world and feel like 9 white rats in a deck centrifuge.

★ KASSANDRA ★

Bizarre lyrics, fast shifts, unusual metrics, beat-heavy riffs, nodding metal, post-rock take-offs, catchy pop choruses.

KASSANDRA released their debut single in 2018, entitled I told you so..., which was followed by their inclusion in the Voice Occupation Programme. Their first full-length album, Deep Water, landed in January 2020 and was presented at the Akvárium Klub. In 2022, they announced themselves with a live session single entitled Thank You, You're Well in 2022.

The band brings the work of singer, guitarist and pianist István Nagy (ex-Esti Kornél, Péterfy Bori & Love Band, Erik Sumo Band) to the stage and on record, with the help of members Zsombor Borka, Jason Bálint Szeifert and Renáta Vaskó. Anyone who has listened to them knows that they take liberties with different genres with a sure hand, blending them into a melodic progressive musical experience. They have performed at numerous festivals in Hungary - Fishing on Orfű, Arts Valley, Campus, Fezen, Black Noise - and played at the Double Rise Festival in Transylvania.

Várhegyutca

Várhegyutca is a 10-piece band playing funky, reggae, Balkan, folk, some rap and blues with a combination of unusual and familiar instruments.

Their concerts often have a dance-inducing atmosphere

and pogo.

The band, formed 2 years ago, is made up of young people from Solymar and the surrounding area.

They have already had the opportunity to perform once in the Turbina Great Hall before the band The Duckshell.

They play a lot of gigs in clubs, event centres and events.

They write and play their own songs at their concerts, but once in a while they cover and play a more famous song in their own style.
