With their Valium EP, released in 2020, BUZZ became one of the emerging bands in Hungary’s post-rock scene, and later gained recognition internationally. Their debut album, Blissful Dystopia, was released in October 2022. Among the post-rock and psychedelic-rock tracks, the song Inside immediately made it onto the Best of 2022 list of the genre’s most prominent distributor, the Wherepostrockdwells YouTube channel, alongside famous bands like Oh Hiroshima, My Sleeping Karma, Russian Circles, Toundra, MONO, and Lost in Kiev.

In February of this year, the band performed at the National Széchényi Library, where they presented four tracks from the Blissful Dystopia album as part of the Főpróba live recording event organized by Hajógyár and M2 Petőfi TV.

BUZZ's songs are known for crossing the boundaries of conventional musical styles, alternating between dreamy and pulsating themes. The atmosphere shifts created by eclectic riffs give the songs a dystopian feel. The band is heavily influenced by Tool and God Is An Astronaut, but brighter, Red Hot Chili Peppers-like harmonies can also be found in their repertoire.
