Once there was water: that which ripples, presses, and seeps through the smallest crack, then fills everything, floods everything with elemental force.
Another time, fire: that which ignites with a huge flame, first warming, then burning alive, in a slow fire, to charcoal.
The poem, written from two points of view, with a double subject, but written in the first person singular throughout, is a constant blending of the two 'I's, the boundaries appearing and disappearing. Due to the sometimes intimate character of the text, the age limit for the performance is 18+
