The biggest party of the year is coming!
On 9 November, for the eighth time, Budapest's trendy cafés and pubs will be filled with classical music, so that we can enjoy these wonderful tunes not only in concert halls.
The Festival Orchestra's artists will perform, of course, but they will also be joined on their instruments by the young artists, most of them foreign, who have become the Orchestra's academy students of the European Orchestra Academy (EOA) in 2024.
Free mini-concerts on both sides of the Danube will welcome music lovers to the most unmissable classical music event of the autumn. The music will move to nearly a dozen venues, in busy and secluded corners of the city centre.
The informal mini-concerts start in the late afternoon and run until midnight in some venues. Participation is free everywhere, but where possible, book early as places will sell out fast.
