Schedule
He was awarded the Kossuth Prize for his work. His orchestras consistently and confidently follow their own unique path with their individual fusion of Hungarian folk music and African-American jazz, developed by the band leader and the members of the band. Commitment to the musical concept, respect and humility towards the sources, outstanding musicians, new and evergreen Dresch compositions, standards in the Dresch way - all these combine to create a musical experience that the audience of their concerts can always experience with a sense of novelty.
This special evening will give an insight into Mihály Dresch's oeuvre, with special guests and occasional musical encounters alongside his three currently active orchestras, the Dresch Quartet, the Dresch Alternative Quartet and the Dresch String Quartet.
