Vivaldi: Four Seasons
The concert of Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra will present an exciting new approach to Antonio Vivaldi's (1678-1741) eternal classic, The Four Seasons, with László G. Horváth, the evening's soloist, and Soma Dinyés, the leader of the continuo solo, who will guide the audience through Vivaldi's programme music as a living story.
The performance will give an insight into how the textual references in the scores of the works, which serve as a source of inspiration, help the musicians to shape the sounds of nature in music, and Vivaldi's sonnets, which he wrote as a programme to complement the music, will also be presented.

Before each of the four violin concertos in the cycle - each of the 'seasons' - the artists will interactively break down Vivaldi's music into its elements, interspersed with musical examples.
Spring reveals the music of birds, soft breezes and spring showers, followed by an idyllic picture of nymphs and shepherds dancing merrily.
Throughout the summer, we see the unbearable heat, the different winds, an overwhelming storm, the farmer man lamenting the ruined harvest and the swarming mosquitoes, flies and wasps.
Autumn is a joyous and exuberant celebration of harvest, of the harvest, where the fun suddenly turns to sleep and snoring at the height of the mood.
This is followed by the cold, frosty, gnashing of teeth of Winter, where the lonely wanderer seeks refuge in despair, only to watch the drops melt from the warmth of a room by a roaring fire, and finally the evocation of Spring in the closing season, thus also evoking the eternal cycle of nature.
The Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra is one of Hungary's most exciting young ensembles, winner of several international competitions and national awards, and a regular performer at prestigious concert venues in Budapest and Europe.
