In the Transcendent Triptych trio, three prominent representatives of European jazz recreate the concept of modern avant-garde jazz through early, classical and folk music: János Ávéd on saxophone, a soloist with the Modern Art Orchestra and a soloist in a variety of formations, David Six (Bill Frisell, Bryce Dessner, Stargaze) on piano, and Tilo Weber (David Friedman Generations Trio, Y-Otis, Keno), a restless explorer, on drums.

The idea for their collaboration was born in 2022 at the most important meeting point for European jazz, the Jazzahead! festival in Bremen, and they spent a long time maturing their new compositions. In their repertoire, they aim to explore transcendental content beyond the material nature of music, through the extension of pre-recorded or spontaneous musical forms. They are coming straight from the studio for the concert: in the days before, they will be recording their debut album, which will be released in 2025 on BMC Records.
