Mia (Emma Stone), an aspiring young actress, and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling), a jazz pianist with a beautiful future, are looking for their dreams in Los Angeles, the City of Angels. Mia goes from audition to audition, just longing to not be interrupted, and Sebastian is passionate about bringing classic jazz back into fashion. Their future plans include a career in Hollywood and starting their own music club - which is when they bump into each other in the middle of a busy motorway.
The two young people fall in love and help each other shoulder to shoulder on a road paved with setbacks. They must fight hard to succeed, but the day comes when they must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice for their dreams...
