From February 2025, the dances of the Waterfronts will be introduced in a pre-dance course.

Hungarian dances from Szászcsávás, Romanian dances from Haranglábi and Gypsy dances from Désfalvi. The Szászcsávási band, which is still well-known today, used to provide the background music for the village dancers in all three villages.

Two family bands will visit us during two gala shows during the nine-event course.

In our dance workshops, we place great emphasis on teaching dance, and those interested can learn the dances of a particular region from excellent instructors over several months. We celebrate the end of each cycle with a ball and invite local musicians from the region to each occasion. Talented folk singers will introduce you to the melodies of each region, and the best-known dance bands will keep the dance music going until dawn, providing an opportunity for fun and entertainment.

We welcome complete beginners and newcomers to our beginner dance classes! In our beginners' group you can acquire the basic dance skills that will enable you to dance with confidence in dance workshops.
