Príma Donnák - Kolonits Klára

A special career for Klára Kolonits. She is probably the only soprano in the world to have sung Judith from The Bluebearded Prince's Castle before The Queen of the Night. It was an incomprehensibly long journey of nearly a decade before Klára Kolonits arrived at the Opera, where she immediately made her debut in the leading role of Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte. Since then, she has not been unfaithful to Mozart, and has been given worthy roles in all the works in the Salzburg genius's repertoire. The soprano has found her true home in the world of national and international bel canto heroines. In addition to works by Bellini, Donizetti and Meyerbeer, she was able to show off her special technique in such rarities as Donizetti's Stuart Maria, performed in Szeged. But just as important for Kolonits are the works of Erkel, and in addition to Erzsébet and Melinda Szilágyi, he has also sung Mária and Erzsébet Bátori for live recordings. His CD Bel Canto Reloaded has also attracted international attention.
