"The dry vegetation that has grown around the path is rising. A valley breathes softly before me, on the horizon a peaky mountain, just splitting clouds in two. Soon the sun will set again, but first I want to descend into the valley, as if something sparks from the foothills. The stones are slippery, the darkness of the night settles on my chest with a heavy weight. Tomorrow morning, I'll soak in the sparkling water before continuing on.
