Once upon a time in Budapest there lived a little boy whose favourite pastime was truancy and slingshots. The only way he could indulge his passion for the latter was on sparrows and cats. Not having much luck in hunting, he imagined the missed opportunities. Then one day, Verbena, the sparrow fairy, fed up with Vili chasing her charges, decided to teach the bad boy a lesson and turned Vili into a sparrow.
