Hedgehog hunting - Feldmár Filmclub
On Friday 21 February 2025, at 20.15, we will meet in person at the Bem cinema to continue the 2024/2025 season. Now in its sixth year, we will meet you with unbroken enthusiasm and chat after the film. We look forward to seeing you again this season, with lots of new films and real conversations!
After the film, we will be joined by the filmmakers Mihály Schwechtje and Juli Jakab, and from the Institute we will be joined by psychologist Andrea Heves, bibliotherapist Annamari Huszár and actress Mari Kőszegi.

How much do you take? And how much can you take? Overworked Bogi (Mari Dorottya) studies classical singing at the Academy of Music, but as a country girl she finds it hard to find her place in Budapest. She earns money by babysitting her cousin Tamás (Csaba Polgár - Cicaverzum) and his wife Zita (Juli Jakab - Napszállta). The couple's relationship is in crisis, and the tension between them is inadvertently spilling over to the children, and ultimately to Bogi. She makes a fatal mistake on the day of a singing exam that is crucial to her future.
The latest film by Mihály Schwechtje, director of I Hope You Die Next Time : -), explores the problem of overwork, focusing on a single day in the lives of its three protagonists. It gives a sharp insight into the sacrifices we have to make in order to get through our everyday lives.
