But one thing is for sure: it will be the biggest Neoton concert ever', said the three founding members, Éva Csepregi, Ádám Végvári and János Baracs. The Neoton Family Stars have been the stars of many big parties, but what they are about to do will surpass them all. Éva Csepregi, Ádám Végvári and János Baracs.

On 10 January 2026, the production Finale will be presented on the MVM Dome stage. The members of the ensemble told Blikk in Éva's house in Szentendre that they will take to the stage in the country's largest indoor hall early next year.

- We are preparing for the biggest Neoton Família Stars concert of all time! - said Ádám Végvári, the singer-guitarist of the group. - It's only March, but we're already in full swing planning what's going to happen on stage. The backbone of the show is there, as the audience always looks forward to our biggest hits. We plan to play many of the songs in a different way to what they are used to, and I don't even think it's inconceivable that we might have a new song or two in the pipeline.

But why is the party called Finale?

- The title Finálé can be interpreted in many ways, and indeed, it could be the end of an era - the band's bass guitarist János Baracs took over - I can tell you that we are young because of all the gigs and we don't plan to retire. Last year, for example, we played 50-60 gigs, and at our busiest we played seven times in eight days, travelling 2,800 kilometres. Of course, this production will be different in every way. It's probably unique and unrepeatable. For me, a big concert is like a date with a very beautiful woman. I try to be prepared, to put my best face forward. I'm excited with anticipation and if it goes as I expect, I can be happy. So if it's a full house and a success, it's catharsis for me.

In January 2024, Éva Csepregi gave a highly successful lifetime achievement concert in the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena, and in early 2026 she will give another extra performance, this time in a very special venue, the MVM Dome.

- The title immediately appealed to me, because the finale is always the highlight of a performance," said the Neoton Família Stars singer. - We'll be celebrating the songs first and foremost: our greatest hits span sixty years, and when we play these songs, I always think of a story about their birth. By the way, when my son David was little, we often made up celebrations for ourselves to make everyday life colourful. For sure, 10 January 2026 will be a big holiday in our lives! I'm already getting ready, I've been watching a lot of concert films lately and I'm always thinking about how to keep the Neoton bandwagon rolling. And my son, who is the drummer in our band, is looking at this world through the eyes of the young people, and I'm sure there will be a lot of new and spectacular elements to look forward to at this concert.

The history of Neoton dates back to the sixties. In October 1983, Adam and Eve won the Grand Prize at the Yamaha Music Festival in Japan with their song "Tomorrow Till Dawn". The official song of the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea, was sung by Éva Csepregi and Leslie Mandoki. Éva Csepregi, Ádám Végvári and János Baracs have been performing as the stars of Neoton Família since 2005 and their success is unbroken.

Location

MVM Dome

MVM Dome is the seventh largest indoor event venue in Europe. Its capacity for sports events and concerts is significantly higher than that of the Budapest Sports Arena.

It has 20,022 seats; a total of 50,000 square metres of floor space; innovative, rearrangeable spaces for many indoor sports (handball, basketball and volleyball, futsal, ice hockey, tennis, skating) as well as certain athletic, equestrian and motorcycle competitions, and even swimming competitions and water polo matches in the mobile pool.

Through the six entrances to the building, spectators can enter the arena’s interior using eight escalators, leading to the walk-through grandstands accessible on three levels.

The structure of the building’s exterior is reminiscent of muscle fibres: the light strips placed on the outward-leaning, elliptical sections not only embrace the building, but the light shows, programmed using various colours, appear to set the entire building in motion.

There is a 600 square metre display on the façade of the building.

The Main Entrance leads to an impressive foyer, where visitors will be greeted by a grandiose hanging light installation of 848 handmade glass tubes.

The programmable sports lighting is also suitable for HDTV broadcasts of the highest-level world competitions, as well as for super-slow-motion recordings due to flicker free technology.

The lighting system also plays an important role in the events and concerts, as it is suitable for changing the colour temperature of the auditorium, which means that the lighting functions can be changed without rearranging the arena, only through the pre-programmed lighting controls. This design is the first and is unique in Europe for luminaires of this power.

A central display (cube) provides information in the auditorium during the events.
