Big Time Rush - Carlos, Kendall, James and Logan - will perform in over 50 cities across the US, UK and Europe this year to celebrate their hits, fans and friendship worldwide.

BIG TIME RUSH IN REAL LIFE WORLDWIDE will give fans exactly what they've been waiting for: the band will perform every song from every episode of the hit Nickelodeon series, many of which have never been performed live before. The Rushers - the band's fans - will be able to relive their favourite moments from the series, but the band has plenty more surprises in store. Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman, known from the show as Jo and Gustavo, will join the band as opening acts at all stops on the tour.

"We have some of the best fans in the world and when we sat down to plan this tour, we wanted to give them everything they've always asked us for, everything they've always dreamed of. "We couldn't be more excited to bring our songs to them all over the world," says the band about the tour. "We couldn't be more excited to have our dear friends from the TV show, Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman, who we've never had the opportunity to tour with before, join us on the tour. We've got a lot of surprises in store for Rushers on the In Real Life Wordwide tour, and we can't wait to meet everyone on the road soon!"

Big Time Rush became known in one fell swoop in 2009 thanks to Nickelodeon's TV series Big Time Rush. The huge success of the show turned the band into real-life stars, who have since released three studio albums and performed all over the world. In June 2020, the band reunited virtually to everyone's surprise, causing mass hysteria from fans and press alike. In 2021, all four seasons of the series were streamed on Netflix, further increasing the number of fans demanding a reunion. Soon after, their demand was granted. The band sold more than 600,000 tickets during its 2022 and 2023 tours.

And Big Time Rush will continue to tour tirelessly: this year, for the first time, they will arrive in Hungary on 16 December at the MVM Dome, to the delight of the Rushers.

Location

MVM Dome

MVM Dome is the seventh largest indoor event venue in Europe. Its capacity for sports events and concerts is significantly higher than that of the Budapest Sports Arena.

It has 20,022 seats; a total of 50,000 square metres of floor space; innovative, rearrangeable spaces for many indoor sports (handball, basketball and volleyball, futsal, ice hockey, tennis, skating) as well as certain athletic, equestrian and motorcycle competitions, and even swimming competitions and water polo matches in the mobile pool.

Through the six entrances to the building, spectators can enter the arena’s interior using eight escalators, leading to the walk-through grandstands accessible on three levels.

The structure of the building’s exterior is reminiscent of muscle fibres: the light strips placed on the outward-leaning, elliptical sections not only embrace the building, but the light shows, programmed using various colours, appear to set the entire building in motion.

There is a 600 square metre display on the façade of the building.

The Main Entrance leads to an impressive foyer, where visitors will be greeted by a grandiose hanging light installation of 848 handmade glass tubes.

The programmable sports lighting is also suitable for HDTV broadcasts of the highest-level world competitions, as well as for super-slow-motion recordings due to flicker free technology.

The lighting system also plays an important role in the events and concerts, as it is suitable for changing the colour temperature of the auditorium, which means that the lighting functions can be changed without rearranging the arena, only through the pre-programmed lighting controls. This design is the first and is unique in Europe for luminaires of this power.

A central display (cube) provides information in the auditorium during the events.
