Andrea Szulák is preparing for the biggest concert of her career! The popular actress and singer will present her unique and spectacular show on 3 January 2026 on the stage of the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena. Andi was the first to tell Blikk about the background of her decision and the progress of the planning so far.

Andrea Szulák celebrated her 60th birthday last December with an unforgettable gala concert at the Erkel Theatre. The great success with the audience and the many positive reactions encouraged the singer to take on another big challenge.

- It was an unimaginable success for me, and it was also a big surprise that there were no tickets available a month before the concert - Andrea Szulák recalled to our newspaper. It was a lifetime achievement concert, a summary of my career, and all the songs I can think of were played. After the concert, we decided to up the ante and would like to show ourselves again at the Arena on 3 January 2026, mainly due to the huge interest. I don't have any arrogance in me that this is what I deserve, in fact I'm already very excited. I've performed there many times, I'm aware of the conditions and the possibilities.

Andrea Szulák also revealed that, although it seems like there is still a long way to go before the concert kicks off 2026, she is already busy every day with the preparatory work.

- From my experience, time is never enough, and we are preparing a very serious vision, and the audience will also see a fantastic dance art. Certain venues demand this, you can't go on stage at the Arena in a black evening gown, you need to have extras to get the audience into the state they want to be in. The songs bring out life feelings from all of us, and we try to add to them the atmosphere, the right background. I try to fix one task every day and then tick it off to move forward with everything.

The popular artist is currently performing in two plays at the Art Theatre, one of which is the recently premiered Nude with Violin directed by Armand Kautzky. She also receives many theatre and concert invitations from different places and in different genres.

- "I have to make sure that towards the end of the year, I allocate my energies wisely," says Andrea Szulák. I've been an acrobatic juggler in this regard for a very long time, and I want to continue to balance genres and the number of gigs with love, normality and taste. The most important thing for me though is that my child is graduating from high school this year, and I will be there for her the whole time. That's what makes life exciting and beautiful, and that's what makes it worth renewing from time to time.

' The Péter Máté Award-winning diva will be accompanied by the legendary Studio 11 Ensemble at the January concert, with guests Kati Wolf, Bálint Gájer and Nikolas Takács. Honthy Hanna Award-winner Ákos Bodor will be responsible for the visuals, while the stage choreography will be designed by Yvette Wellai. The production will be presented by InConcert Productions, and for lovers of musicals, jazz and sophisticated pop music, this will be the real opening of the year 2026.
