But the Me-machine does not strive for familiarity. It does not parody, copy or recreate. It creates. Biography, sentences, freedom and prison, personal and impersonal. It rebels, it exposes.
He plays, but not without stakes. Sometimes seriously, sometimes frivolously. Simply and subtly. Cleverly or wrongly. Blamed. Závada writes my Me Machine, the Me Machine writes him, and both of them are the reader. "The Me Machine is always someone else": it is an experience to find out who.
