Founded in 1993, the Danubia Orchestra has become one of the country's most distinguished professional symphony orchestras in just a few years, thanks to a meticulous and meticulous professional workshop. The orchestra has been conducted by such distinguished conductors as Zoltán Kocsis, Tamás Vásáry, Péter Eötvös, György Vashegyi, Kenicsiró Kobayasi and Sir Neville Marriner, and has also accompanied soloists such as Éva Marton, Andrea Rost, Erika Miklósa, Katalin Kokas, Barnabás Kelemen, László Fenyő, Gergely Bogányi and Dezső Ránki. They regularly receive invitations to perform abroad and have appeared in Spain, Germany, France and Italy, and are returning participants at music festivals in Ludwigsburg, Milan, Hanover and Zurich. The artistic director of the orchestra and the creator of their programmes since 2013 is conductor Máté Hámori.
