120 BPM - Rhythm of Budapest
2025-05-18T17:00:00.000Z
⁉️ What comes to mind when you think of Budapest?
The party district where English tourists mix with young and not-so-young Hungarians? The Turkish gyros from the Greek gyroshop? The ever-moving, undulating streets steeped in real history, the crackling facades, the grand old squares? The early morning sober-ups in Blaha Meiki? The place where you feel at home?
Or maybe a love?

🗺️ What is my relationship with Budapest?
This is the question asked by the members of the amateur theatre company HelySzínelők. They are trying to formulate and present these relationships to the audience, hoping that the visitors of the performance will ask themselves the same question - and that a common reflection will help us to better understand ourselves and the capital city around us.
🎭 The show contains elements of community theatre, but is not entirely community theatre. The fourth wall is sometimes held up, sometimes completely torn down, and at times the audience can become an active part of the thinking - and expression - of Budapest.
They play:
Ivánkai Márk, Lanczki Eszter Zsófia, Lipi Patrícia, Mátrai Roxána, Plesznivy Álmos, Plesznivy Károly, Thernesz Veronika, Tréfás Luca.
Group leaders.
📃 Registration for the performance is required by e-mail: [email protected]
🕐 The duration of the performance is about 1 hour 15 minutes, after which the audience is invited to a relaxed conversation with a splash.
Location
MANYI
Se nem foglaltház, se nem romkocsma, de mindenképpen olyan közösségi tér és kultúrgócpont, ami olyan egykori történelmi helyek hagyományát viszi tovább, mint a Kultiplex vagy a West Balkán.
