Gangaray Dance Company - Down
2025-05-28T17:30:00.000Z
This year Gangaray Dance Company turns 20.
The company was founded in 2004 under the artistic direction of choreographer József Hámor. The dance-focused project-based ensemble has won the best choreography award at several festivals. The company's work has been described as "rhythmic elegance", "the painting of energy bending" and "the composition of dimensions".
The Gangaray Dance Company's latest dance theatre production, "Down", invites the audience on a mystical journey into the depths of emotion. A quasi-counterpoint to the company's highly successful production "Up". The storyless piece captivates the audience through the power of music, with the hypnotic melodies of Gangaray Experimental Music brought to life through the movements of the dancers.
The choreography, driven by female energy, has become a trademark of the company, transporting the audience into an unforgettable experience with verve and elegance.
