At this year's Bánkitó Festival, we mobilise our collective imagination and explore how we can step outside the constructs that re and re-enact the grinding reality of everyday life. What do we choose, what do we need, and what happened? How did we get here? Have we worked for it or is there more work to do? Time for next week? A lifestyle change? It's clear. I'm on it.
If our choices are free and freedom is good, why do the error messages keep coming? Why do we have to save our preferences while we're checking out? What are our real choices, and what is a good choice anyway? Our dreams are being pulled to the left by an invisible hand and devouring the planet by the monsters the other 50% have chosen. The AI, taught by all in common, changes his wardrobe every month and races to maintain his status as a workaholic idiot. Power is competing for us. Progress is just growth, but we don't even understand it anymore, who can still pay attention to what they meant last time: the state, money, degrees and work can only be part of speculation. The system does not respond.
