Our chief bear is hibernating in the city. That's how the Poet found him: dozing on a bench in a park. He took the little Chief Bear gently in his arms, but perhaps clumsily: the bear woke up. The Poet began to tell him a story about a bird, his best friend of long ago. The bear closed his eyes and hummed a tune to himself. Then it was silent. Let him sleep a little longer, it's almost spring.
Based on Dezső Tandori's Bear's Dream on a Wing, the performance invites children to take an associative walk into the world of bears and sparrows. Through music, images and dreams, we try to get closer to the ancestral trust between the dreamer and the dreamer's dream, between child and parent.
The actor-actress pairs will dream up the characters of a popular Pagony book and tell their stories.
