NEW FOSSILS
New Fossils have opted for a constant search for new paths and the tensions inherent in contradictions. Their music is permeated with a sense of languor, while the end result is clearly linked to the latest strand of contemporary urban jazz.

The song-centric compositions are taken to a higher level, sometimes with electronics, sometimes with improvisation. They do this with ease, as they were already key players in the Hungarian jazz and popular music scene as members of the Dresch Quartet or Mörk before the band started. Their debut album was recorded in 2022 and will be released in April this year on their own label, Morotva Records.
