THE TROUSERS

The Trousers are a Budapest-based garage rock/hard rock band, active since 2005. Their style sits between the hard rock of the late 1970s and the garage rock revival of the 2000s. Over their career, they have released six full-length albums and numerous EPs. On their third album (Freakbeat, 2013), Nicke Andersson, frontman of The Hellacopters, made a guest appearance. Since then, their albums have regularly received positive reviews on international underground forums, and their songs are played on underground rock radio stations worldwide. Their most recent album was released by an international label and received average ratings of 8/10–10/10 in both domestic and international rock magazines. They are currently working on their seventh LP, “Necessary Evil”, with the single “Second Hand Suicide” already available on various streaming platforms.

DIKLAM TEDIK

Diklam Tedik is a fictional comic book hero whose adventurous life is always full of inspiring events. The band consists of Gergő Kovács (ex-Barbed Wire, Envoy – guitar/vocals), Csaba Neményi (ex-Peter Kovary & The Royal Rebels – guitar), Zsombor Tóth (ex-Peter Kovary & The Royal Rebels – bass), with guest drummer Balázs Bakó (The Bits) for this lineup. They play assertive, no-frills rock with tight rhythms, strong melodies, and an intense stage presence.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
