NO RAIN NO FLOWERS
With my exhibition, I would like to draw attention to the movement of water, in which I see a metaphor for the flow of thoughts. The artificial water sources displayed in my paintings suggest that a controlling hand activates the rain, recalling the ancient idea that gave birth to our first gods by personifying natural phenomena. I myself am pleased to take over the role of tired clouds during a home watering, on which my comments have brought new shoots in me as well.

My dearest motif is the village blue well, which, as an idol of the source of wisdom, exudes the truths of the deepest strata. Passing the heavenly blessing on the garden of our spirit, the ceremony of vegetation begins. The ceremony begins with the drumming of raindrops, and then the windblowers encourage the leaves to dance so that their life-affirming ceremony can reach the trees towering over them like a temple. The waterfall of melodies poured from the tub sometimes hides the rhythm, the possibility of being cut down in plant ornamentation I see. Highlighting an excerpt from the noise, perhaps it is easier for us to discover the musical endeavor in it.
Artus
Artus is an open, diverse intellectual and creative workshop, a meeting place for people, ideas and art.
Artus is both Gábor Goda's company, the Artus Studio - a studio in an abandoned factory building of 2000 square metres - and the collective of 30 artists who work there, as well as the Association, which provides the institutional backdrop.
Founded in 1985, Artus is an independent, contemporary, all-arts collective. We have created more than 100 performances and presented them in 25 countries. Since the beginning we have organised international projects, residencies and co-productions.
The Studio's regular programmes include performances by the Artus company, guest performances, visual arts exhibitions, music and other cultural events, as well as self-awareness and movement workshops.
