What was left out of the curriculum

The aim of the two 90-minute programs is to inspire participating teachers to engage with contemporary art, visit contemporary art exhibitions, even with school groups, or incorporate it into their classroom work.
In addition to its motivational function, the program also seeks to present the reasons behind the emergence of contemporary art—including the avant-garde of the 20th century—its connections to art history, its most characteristic trends, artworks, technical processes, specific use of materials, and, of course, the themes through which contemporary art connects to the complex social and cultural environment of our world.
