ALBOROSIE & SHENGEN CLAN
One of reggae’s biggest international icons, Alborosie, on May 8 on the Aquarium Club stage! With more than 100 million streams and 10 million monthly students in 2026, Alborosie is arguably one of the most important figures in modern reggae. With more than a thousand concerts behind him, the artist, who deeply respects and authentically represents Jamaican musical culture, is celebrating the release of his new album on his tour around the world, one of the highlights of which is Budapest.

Originally of Sicilian descent, Alberto D’Ascola, aka Pupa Albo, has lived in Jamaica for more than twenty years and has been shaping the worlds of roots reggae, dub, raggamuffin and dancehall ever since with its own unique sound. There are hymns associated with his name like Kingston Town or Herbalist, and the iconic Soul Pirate album. Alborosie is not only a performer but also a producer: she has worked with Buju Banton, Kabaka Pyramid, The Wailers United and Ky-Mani Marley, among others.
In 2024, he returned with his new album, Dub Pirate, which processes songs from the classic Soul Pirate. And live, accompanied by the Shengen Clan, it brings in the vibrant, authentic reggae energy that millions of fans around the world love.
