Zoom out, zoom in – bibliodrama workshop at the Big Bang exhibition
2025-12-06T15:00:00.000Z
In the bibliodrama session, we first “zoom out,” take a step back, and focus on the founding couple, Peter and Ruth Ludwig. We learn what motivated Peter Ludwig to collect contemporary art and donate his collection to museums. Next, we learn about the mission of the Ludwig Museum, founded after the fall of communism, and its role today.
The next step is to "zoom in" on the works in the Big Bang exhibition, that is, to focus more intensely on a few specific works using dramatic tools. Interviews with the artists provide a starting point for this, helping us to gain a deeper understanding of the background and history of the works.
All this serves to help us think together about the role of a contemporary art museum, its collection, and its exhibitions.
