Átlátszó Hang 2026 & j(A)zz! | Dsilton (AT)
2026-01-20T19:00:00.000Z
Dsilton's energetic music is based on microtonal tuning and rhythmic modulations. Their current program consists of interwoven pieces by Georg Vogel and David Dornig, whose compositional methods and improvisational frameworks are defined by complex grooves and the extended tonality of 31-note tuning. The repertoire includes enharmonically interwoven improvisations as well as serialist compositions and works edited from field recordings. All this naturally requires special instruments: Dsilton's music is performed on a newly built 31-note keyboard instrument called the Clavitone, a newly developed eight-string guitar with 31 frets per octave, and a drum set.
The festival is supported by the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung.
