Why do we feel the need to depict everything and everyone? Ferenc Olasz's photographs preserve not only visible forms but also invisible changes: the traces of time, the presence of the past, the silence that surrounds every object. Every man-made object contains the personality of its creator. The images invite us to stop and notice what is otherwise part of our everyday lives and perhaps passes us by.
