Folk music and the music of our time not only coexist, but are also part of the same culture, interacting - these are the intersections Góbé has sought on its four world music albums to date.
They have pushed the technical limits of their acoustic instruments to create new but ethnic soundscapes. Rock, blues, dubstep, reggae, metal, jazz, pop, dnb, hiphop and whatever else comes to mind - in effect, they have created a 'folk pop' music that is both fun and contemporary, while retaining its traditional character. It is the unmistakable, twisted, witty "Góbé" style that is the band's signature.

We don't turn to the contemporary from folk music, nor vice versa: it so happens that folk and urban influences have always been present in our lives in parallel, so our production is not a search, but an imprint. We started in 2015 as a flute and citera duo, and for five years now we have been working as an orchestra, with the addition of a cajon and bass guitar.
