Úrfi, The Pontiac, Arcidra

Úrfi has been part of the Hungarian pop music scene since 2018. The band, which describes itself as text-centric, complaining pop, is characterized by intimate and sensitive lyrics and an eclectic sound that blends different styles. The band is characterized by self-irony, carefree laughter at themselves, bittersweet recognition, and an insurmountable need to share something with those who honor them with their attention.

Schedule

During their career, the band has released two albums and performed at festivals (Művészetek Völgye, Fezen, Budapest Spring Festival, Dreher Feszt, etc.). They have also held independent concerts at several prominent clubs in the country (Akvárium, A38, etc.). They won the Müpa Garázsband competition, as well as the joint talent contest organized by Dreher and Lángoló. In 2023, they embarked on their first independent rural tour to show the world their tear-jerking, laugh-inducing music and do what they love most.

• THE PONTIAC •

An evening for those who love songs with substance and free-flowing music. The concert will feature the entire new album, but of course songs from previous albums will also be included.

If you've been following them for a long time, you know what to expect. If this is your first time hearing about them, now is the time to catch up. The new album really comes alive when played live – and now, for the first time, you can hear the new songs come to life within the walls of Turbina. Come on, it's time to make some new memories!

• ARCIDRA •

Suburban alternative rock that encompasses a lot of ambivalence.

The world of Arcidra is both progressive and conservative, both audience-friendly pop music and thoughtful underground alternative, both dance and introspection, both carefully constructed webs of thought about a slice of the world's incomprehensible complexity and cheap puns.
