GLENCZ, ZUZMO
Glencz does not want to preserve folk songs, but to use them.
For us, folk art is not a closed heritage, but a common language: constantly evolving, reinterpretable, living material.
The archaic lyrics and melodies raise questions
that are still relevant today – about loneliness, freedom, community, and separation.
Glencz rephrases these questions in the musical language of the present.
This is not folk music. This is Glencz:
modular synthesizer meets shepherd's flute,
vibrating, humming bass meets guitar that sometimes imagines itself to be a zither,
cosmic vocals meet whistling organ.
This evening is the live premiere of our first single.

Schedule
Zuzmo is a symbiosis of five people who are capable of surviving even the harshest conditions.
We want to talk about this survival, the struggle with mental illness, and the formation and difficulties of identity in young adulthood, so that the members of our community can feel that they are not alone.
The band was formed in March 2024 and has played in most of Budapest's underground clubs during its existence. In November 2025, we appeared as guests of Fiúk and Hűvös on the stage of Akvárium, and as members of the Hungarian emo community, we also made a few stops in the countryside with Hitori and Sharinn.
We have currently produced five singles for you, each of which represents an important moment in our debut concept album, which will be released in the spring.
