Following last year's celebration of the A38's 23rd birthday, Európa Kiadó will continue the tradition this year on April 30 on the ship's stage!
The history of Európa Kiadó is not a traditional band story. Formed in the early 1980s around guitarist-singer Jenő Menyhárt, the band has operated in different eras and lineups throughout its career, constantly reinterpreting itself while maintaining its unique sound and independent spirit.
Their albums are true reflections of their era: Love '82, Jó lesz '84, Popzene, Szavazz rám, Itt kísértünk – Love '92, Annak is kell, ...Valahol lenni..., Nincs kontroll – and their latest album, released on January 23, 2026, continues this tradition.
New album: Könnyedén vett apokalipszis (Apocalypse Taken Lightly)
Release date: January 23, 2026.
The album contains six songs and two audio interludes. The recordings were made between 2023 and 2025 and are snapshots of the band during this period. The release originally started as a four-song EP in 2013, then expanded into a full album over the years.
