Holychicks are ready to plough up the A38 stage once again. Guitarist Kriszti Lahucsky officially hands over the baton to new member Liza Barsi, and the band will show off their latest songs alongside the new musician. The party will be warmed up by the newly formed Elishaz!

HolyChicks is an all-girl pop-rock band that has been around since 2015. Friendship and career go hand in hand: they wrote their first songs during the first rehearsals and have been inspiring and motivating each other ever since. In 2019, they released their first album Ezmáraz, with which they are touring clubs and festivals. From the album, the compositions Szabadon and Pillangóhatás have become a hit: the former was nominated for the Hungarian Film Award 2020 in the Best Composer category, and the latter made it to the semi-finals of A Dal 2020. The band is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, and anyone who attends their concert will be reminded of Joan Jett's saying that "rock 'n roll is basically a man's world, but girls have balls too, just a little higher, that's all!

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
