After 8 years of making music together, touring, eating gas station hot dogs, shooting music videos, releasing EPs and albums, and playing clubs and festivals, Doggos is breaking up. This is your last chance to see us on stage as Doggos in Pécs. Let’s celebrate the past 8 years together—a time when we had the chance to create and make an impact, share our vision with appreciative ears, and meet amazing people on both sides of the stage. Let’s party one last time at Szabadkikötő on May 27.

Formed in late 2017, Doggos effortlessly navigates the genres of pop, indie, and glam rock. At their concerts, anything can happen—from tight garage rock riffs to multi-minute, kitschy power ballads. The Pécs-based band is a regular guest at the Fishing on Orfű, Ördögkatlan, Pécs University Days, and Valley of Arts festivals, and they have also played at Kolorádó and Fekete Zaj. In 2022, they were selected for the Hangfoglaló Program’s emerging bands sub-program. As part of this, they released their first Hungarian-language EP titled Agymasszázs, from which the song “Klór” made it into several radio rotations and won a Klipszemle award.
In the spring of 2024, they opened for Margaret Island on a six-stop tour. Also that year, they released the song “Pici Szíved,” which won the Best Performance award at Klipszemle. The band released their first full-length album, GATYA, on November 15, 2024; their song “Lábamra Tapos az Idő” landed them on the cover of the Nemazapop Spotify editorial playlist for several weeks.

The Free Port is a place where knowledge, experience, feelings and ideas can be freely exchanged over a coffee, a concert, a performance and/or a children's party. That's how it really works here! It's worth getting to know the double face of the place, dominated by kids by day and drinkers by night, with programmes open to all ages. Bring your four-legged pet, they're welcome too! And our kitchen prepares a lactose and gluten free menu every weekday, available from 11:30am.
