PUSZTÁK NÉPE (társadalmi szorongásról)
Puszták Népe – On Social Anxiety
based on the novel Puszták Népe by Gyula Illyés
written and directed by Regős Simon
Our long-running performance Puszták Népe is moving—just a little—to a new home: the Mu Theatre!
After nearly 50 performances, this former graduation piece has travelled through the streets of London and Amsterdam, and now it’s time for you to come see it too.
Gyula Illyés is the hero!
Our hero!
The hero of our Hungarian-ness and the anxieties that come with it!
He hovers above our social divides like a blazing star!
We have no idea who he is! We don’t want to know! We don’t even want to talk about him!
And yet—he is inescapable. Without his analytical gaze, our story would be worth nothing.
