The founder of Makám, Zoltán Krulik—a composer, guitarist, and songwriter who has received the Príma and Hungarian Heritage Awards—also performs as a vocalist, accompanied by violinist Luca Kézdy and bassist István Bata, two outstanding musicians who explore the realms of jazz and world music.

The trio was formed in the spring of 2024. In addition to their own songs, their repertoire includes songs composed to the poems of contemporary poets Attila Jász and Tibor Zalán. They have performed at the Énekmondók Emlékezete festival in Bakonybél, which honors Tamás Cseh; at the Szentendre Open-Air Museum; at the Hétrétország Festival in Őriszentpéter; on Hungarian Culture Day in Esztergom; and at the Csigó Art Multidisciplinary Arts Festival. Their first full-length album, *Világítótorony* (No. 225), was recorded at Pannónia Studio.
