The Berka Clubs' dance houses offer both Moldavian and folk string music dancing, with two dance halls for the whole evening. BERKA

The members of Berka, formed in 2008, recently celebrated the band's tenth birthday. In the past decade, the members of Berka have been working a lot with the very varied repertoire of Moldavian Csángó melodies and dances. They have been expressing their love and respect for this region through their bi-weekly dance-hall series, which has been running for a decade. Over a decade of work has resulted in more than 500 adult and children's dance chats, 2 albums and the 2014 folk music Karaoke DVD "The sun has risen in the sky", which interprets the Moldovan landscape. In recent years, the band has held highly successful concerts and dance festivals in 8 European countries. During their concerts, the repertoire includes music from Gyimes, Felčík and Somogy, but they also enjoy playing medieval music.

"The line-up of our orchestra has changed a lot in the past year. As former and current active members of the Berka community, we try to preserve our professional knowledge and love for music. However, what overrides all professionalism in our band's philosophy is to cultivate the bonds of friendship within the band, to involve our families in this community, and to pass on our love of folk music to our children."
