Maszkura and Canarro evening // Fonó
Szabolcs Biró, the frontman of the Maszkura and Tücsökraj bands, songwriter-harmonica player and poetry composer is perhaps one of the most exciting phenomena of the Hungarian music scene. He came to Budapest from Târgu Mures nearly 20 years ago and has been experimenting with his music from the very beginning. His music incorporates elements of rap, hip-hop, folk music, jazz, pop, swing, funk, among others, and the result is always a completely unique sound that is typical of him.

Schedule
The Canarro band is one of the most outstanding representatives of the French manouche swing (or gypsy jazz) style. They play their own and well-known tunes in an inimitable style: the musical heritage of Django Reinhardt is brought to life, spiced up with the salon music of Budapest from the last century, with a touch of Paris and the musical freedom of jazz. Each concert has a direct and unique atmosphere, offering the audience a unique musical experience. The orchestra recorded two songs with Maszkura for their album New York-Paris-Budapest, released last year and nominated for a Fonogram 2023. Tonight is a continuation of this collaboration, where the audience will be able to enjoy two concerts at the same time: in addition to the joint songs, Maszkura and Canarro will also give a taste of their own world.
Other guests include singer Izabella Caussanel, founder of the duo Ephemere.
