L'esprit des cordes concert and "gyimesi" party
A trio playing the music of the folk world of south-eastern Europe, a spiritual meeting of artists from different parts of the world.

Schedule
The two founders of the world-travelled orchestra of the legendary film Titanic I Salonisti, the Swiss-born, Canadian-educated violist Lorenz Hasler and the first to graduate from the Liszt Academy of Music and later from Switzerland, Béla Szedlák, who later taught at the same university, found a match with violin virtuoso György Zerkula, who like the former, comes from a traditional Gyimes folk music family and plays with the Bern Symphony Orchestra. A "marriage of folk music tradition and polished art" comes to mind when listening to the sophisticated arrangements of folk melodies orchestrated for the ensemble by renowned composers.
The trio's concert, titled Between Waters and Forests, will feature arrangements from the Carpathian Basin and the Balkans. In addition to Hungarian melodies, there will be Armenian, Jewish, Romanian, Serbian, Macedonian and Greek music.
With the participation of:
György Zerkula - violin
Béla Szedlák - double bass
Lorenz Hasler - viola
21:00 Gyimes party
Ticket price: in advance 2000 HUF, on the day of the concert 2500 HUF
