Hotel party: still talked about when we took over the Körszálló in Budapest, it was one of our wildest events ever, and we've obviously been thinking about a sequel ever since. Now, as a part of the Festival of Telecoms is finally turning next to Lake Balaton!

On 15 July, our concept of shaking up the old socialist hotels will move to Lengyeltóti, specifically to a once resort-like, spaceship-shaped Brutalist hotel that was once home to KISZ camps, and could have been (or perhaps was) used by Czechoslovak sci-fi filmmakers. A mass of heavily Instagrammable reinforced concrete, a handkerchief-sized estate, a lakeside sand dancefloor: once again, we're about to pluck the strings of a memorable day.
As with the legendary Körszálló, the former party-state rooms will be transformed into themed spaces, with art projects, pop-up theatre and all sorts of other surprises. On the food front, there will also be excitement courtesy of Circo Pizza and Esca, and countless bottles of natural wine courtesy of Tábla, so everything is in place to sign the guest book together on this day.
Our venue is the Manas Garden, the foreroom of an 80-ha landscape regeneration permaculture project, a community open space, a demonstration and education center with a Mandala garden, a pond, a summer kitchen, chicken compost, and a Geodome planter.

Manas Garden
The former Kék Tó resort village of Lengyeltóti is located 14 km south of Lake Balaton, in the valley of the Pogány stream, where the Balaton wine region is replaced by the wooded hills of Somogy.
