Zene x Szöveg | Agócs Gergely | Fonó zenekar
On 21 February we invite everyone who loves folk culture to dance. And this time it's not a metaphor, but take it literally!
Schedule
The guys from Aurevoir. have already been to Zsofi Kemény's place, and now Gergely Agócs, the father of Marci Agócs, will be our guest! In the discussion we will explore the textual side of folk culture. We will look at both the tradition and the way in which it is kept alive. Afterwards, the Fonó Orchestra will conjure up a dance-hall from the A38 with the most popular and less famous Hungarian folk songs and music of the peoples around us. Host.
The number of seats is limited, reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is supported by the National Cultural Fund in the framework of the Petőfi 200 Memorial Year.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
