Miles Morales, the popular and well-known Spider-Man, returns. Back in his real home in Brooklyn, he meets Gwen Stacy again... he could be back to his quiet life of crime fighting, but then he's transported to the multiverse, where there are a bunch of spider-men whose job it is to protect their different worlds. Only the many and varied guardians of world peace don't all agree, and a new threat is coming, and they're all going to face it differently. Miles hadn't planned it that way, but it doesn't take much, and with all the spiders chasing him, he's on the run. Once he gets going, he's got a few tricks up his sleeve, but those who come after him are spiders too... Miles doesn't know what to do: save himself or those he loves?
